Als ich zurück kam, hatte ich einige Probleme mit Depressionen, eine Art Kulturschock, und wusste einfach nicht mehr wohin mit mir. Also ging ich als Au Pair nach Irland, um meine Zeit bis zum Ausbildungsbeginn irgendwie zu überbrücken. Meine Ängste nahmen in der Zeit zu, und mir fiel es nicht mehr leicht mit anderen Menschen entspannt zusammen zu sein.

On my return I suffered from depression, a sort of culture shock I guess, and didn’t know what to do with myself; therefore, I thought it would help me to go to Ireland as an Au Pair before going back to Germany to start my apprenticeship as a technical design assistant. My anxiety grew with time, even in Ireland, and I had a hard time being relaxed when spending time with people.
