Jean-Luc Nancy hat in seinem Buch "La création du monde ou la mondialisation" auf die dem Begriff des "Globalen" anhaftenden Konnotationen der "Anhäufung" hingewiesen, die in den modernen Sprachen weitgehend zurückgedrängt sind, jedoch in dem begrifflichen Double von "Globus" (= Kugel, Klumpen, Haufen), nämlich "Glomus" (= Knäuel, Knoten, Anschwellung, Geschwulst), sowie vor allem in dem Wort "Agglomeration" (= Zusammenballung) weiterleben.

In his book "La création du monde ou la mondialisation", Jean-Luc Nancy points out the connotations of "accumulation" that adhere to the concept of the "global", which have largely been repressed in modern languages, but which still live on in the conceptual double of "globus" (= ball, lump, bunch), namely "glomus" (= ball, knot, swelling, turgescence), and especially in the word "agglomeration" (= massed together).

Même si ces connotations sont largement réprimées dans les langues modernes, elles se perpétuent dans le double conceptuel du "globus"/"globe" (= sphère, motte, tas), à savoir "glomus"/"glome" (= pelote, nœud, enflure, tumeur), ainsi que surtout dans le mot "agglomération" (= amoncellement).
