On the other hand, there are those plants considered as cultivation species, which are of great importance in the island, both for the islanders and for domestic trade. Among others, we can bring out how successfully has the fig tree (ficus carica) adapted itself.

Si dejamos las zonas rocosas y bosques, el resto de la isla esta formada por dunas y zonas arenosas donde se encuentran también gran número de especies vegetales entre las que podemos destacar el esteperol (cistus chusii), la botja (ononis natrix), el carritx (ammophila arenari), etc... Finalmente se pueden visitar zonas más húmedas como S'Estant Pudent donde nace el jonc y las solseras entre algunas especies de cañas hierbajos habituales en zonas pantanosas.
