A follow-up control method of a product by using a portable device includes: identifying a product by capturing the barcode of the product with a portable device through a program built in the portable device or identifying a product by directly inputting product information into the portable device; registering the product by transmitting data regarding the identified product information to a management server; and performing a follow-up control on the product online by a user after the product registration is completed.

본 발명에 따른 휴대기기를 이용한 제품의 사후관리방법은 휴대기기에 내장된 프로그램을 통해 제품의 바코드를 휴대기기로 촬영하여 제품을 인식하거나, 제품의 정보를 상기 휴대기기에 직접입력하여 제품을 인식시키는 제품인식단계; 상기 제품인식단계로부터 인식된 제품의 정보에 관한 데이타를 관리서버에 전송하여 상기 제품을 등록하는 제품등록단계; 및 상기 제품등록단계 완료후 상기 휴대기기 사용자에 의해 온라인 상에서 상기 제품의 사후관리가 이루어지는 제품사후관리단계;를 포함하여 이루어질 수 있다.
