ففي يوم الدينونة، سوف يدعو الذين أسقوا العطشانَ كأسَ ماء "مباركين"، كما والذين أظهروا محبّة ملموسة لمن هو محتاج: "كُلَّما صَنعتُم شَيئًا مِن ذلك لِواحِدٍ مِن إِخوتي هؤُلاءِ الصِّغار، فلي قد صَنَعتُموه" (متى 25، 40).

Im Gericht wird er all jene „gesegnet“ nennen, die den Durstigen zu trinken gaben, die denen in Not konkret Liebe erwiesen haben: »Was ihr für einen meiner geringsten Brüder getan habt, das habt ihr mir getan « (Mt 25,40).
