Hassouna said that he was grateful to the Commission members for having organized the tribute to the memory of a prominent Egyptian, scholar, professor of international law, well-known journalist, outstanding diplomat and active international civil servant — one who had been a long-standing member of the International Law Commission and the first African and Arab United Nations Secretary-General.
