Under socialism, the workers will own everything that is needed to work. We will not be responsible to middle managers, but to ourselves. We will be free to set our own parameters for this work and we will collectively own what we produce with it. What we produce will not be whatever is most profitable, but what is most needed by society. We will all as citizens have a say on what is needed and as workers have a say on what is produced and how.
