The invention relates to a rotary machine (1) for producing recipients made of a thermoplastic material by drawing and blowing preforms by a moulding device (4) which is provided with an openable mould (5) and a movable drawing rod (8), means (9) for supporting and driving said drawing rod (8), which is embodied in such a way that it is mechanical and comprises power take-off means for generating, on the basis of a monodirectional rotary rotation, two rotary motions of given angular amplitudes of a rocker (11) in two predetermined angular places of a merry-go-round path and means (12) for converting the two rotary movements of the rocker into two opposite linear alternately descending and ascending displacements of a drive unit (13) connected to the drawing rod (8).

Machine carrousel (1) pour la fabrication de récipients en matière thermoplastique par étirage et soufflage de préformes, avec un dispositif de moulage (4) comportant un moule (5) ouvrable et une tige d'étirage (8) mobile ; des moyens (9) de support et d’entraînement de la tige d'étirage (8) sont mécaniques et comprennent : des moyens (10) de prise de mouvement propres à générer, à partir de la rotation continue monodirectionnelle du carrousel, deux déplacements rotatifs d'amplitudes angulaires données d'un culbuteur (11) en deux emplacements angulaires prédéterminés respectifs de la trajectoire du carrousel ; et des moyens (12) propres à transformer les deux déplacements rotatifs du culbuteur en deux déplacements linéaires de sens inverses, alternativement descendant et ascendant, d'un organe d’entraînement (13) accouplé à la tige d'étirage (8).
