I have tried to express in them what had of late persistently recurred to my mind , namely , that the meaning of my life was summed up in its foreword which said that I was born as a child in the playground of this world .

मैंने इन कविताओं में उन अभिव्यक्तियों को स्थान दिया है जो बहुत दिनों से मेरे दिमाग में कुलबुला रही थीं . जैसे कि - मेरे जीवन का अर्थ क्या है - - यह इसकी भूमिका में ही लिखा है - जिसमें यह बताया गया है कि धरती एक खेल का मैदान है - जहां एक शिशु के रूप में मेरा जन्म हुआ .
