Král Jiří přiznal Luise apanáž a propůjčil jí 13. července 1903 titul hraběnky von Montignoso, žádaje ovšem přitom, aby byla dcera vychovávána na saském dvoře s ostatními Luisinými dětmi; tento požadavek však Luisa nikdy nehodlala splnit.

King George gave Louise an allowance and granted her the title of Countess of Montignoso (in allusion of her Tuscan ascendancy) on 13 July 1903; in turn, he demanded that Anna Monika Pia must be sent to Dresden to be raised with the other royal children, but Louise adamantly refused.
