According to the present invention, if an impact sound according to an impact event is inputted in addition to an acceleration sensor value in a vehicle black box, the impact sound is compared with a valid sound and an invalid sound so that if the impact sound matches the valid sound, images, of a certain time period both before and after the point in time when the impact event occurred, are stored and if the impact sound matches the invalid sound, the images are not stored, thereby resulting in an effect of storing a much larger quantity of images in a memory having limited storage space.

본 발명에 따르면, 차량용 블랙박스에서 가속도 센서 값에 더하여 충격이벤트에 따른 충격사운드가 입력되면, 상기 충격사운드를 유효사운드 및 무효사운드와 비교하여 유효사운드에 매칭 되면 충격이벤트가 발생 된 시점을 기준으로 이전 일정시간의 영상과 이후 일정시간의 영상이 저장되도록 하고, 무효사운드에 매칭 되면 영상이 저장되지 않도록 하여, 한정된 저장 공간을 갖는 메모리에 보다 많은 양의 영상이 저장되도록 하는 효과가 있다.
