وإذا تبين في نهاية المطاف أن الاعتماد الكلي على الدعاية الحربية والتجاهل التام للمذابح المرتكبة ضد الأتراك على أيدي العصابات الأرمينية المسلحة لا يُجديان لإقناع الذين يطالبون بحق بمعطيات تاريخية وجيهة وبأدلة وتحليل، فإن المزيفين سيقولون، كما قال الممثل الدائم لأرمينيا، بأن “أنقرة تحاول إحياء ممارسة القرون الوسطى المتمثلة في تحميل ضحايا العنف أنفسهم المسؤولية عن العنف، أملا في أن يؤدي تكرار الأكذوبة بدون توقف إلى أن تصبح حقيقة”.

If relying on wartime propaganda and totally ignoring the massacres of the Turks at the hands of the Armenian armed bands proves inadequate at the end of the day to convince those who rightfully demand robust historical data, evidence and analysis, then the falsifiers would say, as is the case for the Permanent Representative of Armenia, that “Ankara attempts to revive the medieval practice of blaming for the violence the very victims of the violence, in the hope that the endless repetition of the lie will make it true”.

Если использование пропагандистских материалов времен войны и полное игнорирование массовых убийств турок от рук армянских вооруженных банд в конечном итоге оказываются недостаточными для того, чтобы убедить тех, кто справедливо требует достоверных исторических данных, доказательств и анализа, то, как это и делает Постоянный представитель Армении, они будут говорить, что Анкара пытается «реанимировать средневековые приемы обвинения в насилии саму жертву насилия в надежде, что бесконечное повторение лжи сделает ее правдой».
