본 발명은 이미지센서에 대한 렌즈의 위치를 조절하여 카메라의 초점을 조절하거나 손떨림을 보정하는 자동 초점 조절 및 손떨림 보정 기능을 갖는 카메라 액추에이터로서, 이미지센서의 상부에 배치되는 베이스; 렌즈가 장착되고, 상기 베이스의 상부에서 상기 렌즈의 광축 방향으로 이동하는 제1캐리어; 상기 베이스의 상부에서 상기 광축 방향의 수직 방향으로 이동하는 제2캐리어; 상기 제1캐리어를 기준으로 어느 일측에 배치되어 상기 제1캐리어를 이동시키기 위한 구동력을 발생시키는 제1구동부; 및 상기 제1캐리어를 기준으로 타측에 배치되어 상기 제1구동부와 분리되고, 상기 제2캐리어를 이동시키기 위한 구동력을 발생시키는 제2구동부를 포함하여 이루어지며, 자동 초점 조절과 손떨림 보정을 위한 제어가 용이하다.
