No fixed agreement was reached as to the doctrines under discussion, but it was resolved that the Trinity should be reverently and sacredly retained with this condition, that the brethren should bear with one another in brotherly love and refrain from abusing one another in controversy; that each one should follow his own conscience as to baptism and the Lord’s Supper; and that they should claim no authority over one another in matters of faith, leaving it to God in his own time (as Christ had taught) to separate the tares from the wheat.

Aucune résolution ne fut conclue quant aux doctrines étudiées. Toutefois, on s’accora pour que la Trinité soit maintenue avec révérence et sacralité dans cette condition, et que les frères devaient se soutenir entre eux dans l'amour fraternel et s'abstenir d’en maltraiter un autre dans la polémique. Chaque personne devait suivre sa propre conscience quant au baptême infantile et le Repas du Seigneur, et pour cela, ils ne devaient réclamer aucune autorité plus qu'une une autre dans les sujets de foi, et laisser le soin à Dieu dans son propre temps (comme le Christ l’avait enseigné) de séparer l’ivraie du blé.
