Und damit komme ich zum Görlach-Bericht: Mit der Zusammenfügung der bisher aus vielen Einzelbestandteilen bestehenden Politiken und einer dringend notwendigen Ausweitung der ländlichen Aktivitäten zu einem zusammenhängenden Ganzen wollen wir die ländliche Entwicklung zum zweiten Pfeiler der Gemeinsamen Agrarpolitik machen und zugleich die Vorschriften, Verfahren und Beihilfekriterien wesentlich vereinfachen.

Και τώρα φθάνω στην έκθεση Gφrlach: Με τον συγκερασμό των μέχρι τώρα πολιτικών που αποτελούνται από επί μέρους στοιχεία και μιας επειγόντως απαραίτητης διεύρυνσης των αγροτικών δραστηριοτήτων σε ένα ενιαίο σύνολο, επιθυμούμε να καταστήσουμε την αγροτική ανάπτυξη τον δεύτερο πυλώνα της Κοινής Γεωργικής Πολιτικής και να απλοποιήσουμε ταυτόχρονα σε σημαντικό βαθμό τις προδιαγραφές, τις μεθόδους και τα κριτήρια επιδοτήσεων.

And that brings me to the Görlach report. By consolidating policies that have hitherto consisted of many scattered elements in various different portfolios and by undertaking an urgently necessary extension of activities relating to rural areas to form a coherent whole, we wish to make rural development into the second pillar of the common agricultural policy while considerably simplifying the relevant provisions, procedures and aid criteria.

E com isso chego ao relatório Görlach: com a congregação das políticas até agora constituídas por muitas partes e com o alargamento, urgentemente necessário, das actividades rurais para um todo unido, tencionamos tornar o desenvolvimento rural no segundo pilar da política agrícola comum, simplificando simultaneamente de modo substancial as normas, os procedimentos e os critérios de subsídio.
