Public Performance of Musical Works Statement of Proposed Royalties to Be Collected by SOCAN for the Public Performance or the Communication to the Public by Telecommunication, in Canada, of Musical and Dramatico-Musical Works In accordance with subsection 67.1(5) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board hereby publishes the statement of proposed royalties filed by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) on March 30, 2007, with respect to royalties it proposes to collect, effective January 1, 2008, for the public performance or the communication to the public by telecommunication, in Canada, of musical or dramatico-musical works.

Exécution publique d'oeuvres musicales Projet de tarifs des redevances à percevoir par la SOCAN pour l'exécution en public ou la communication au public par télécommunication, au Canada, d'oeuvres musicales ou dramatico-musicales Conformément au paragraphe 67.1(5) de la Loi sur le droit d'auteur, la Commission du droit d'auteur publie le projet de tarifs que la Société canadienne des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique (SOCAN) a déposé auprès d'elle le 30 mars 2007, relativement aux redevances qu'elle propose de percevoir à compter du 1er janvier 2008, pour l'exécution en public ou la communication au public par télécommunication, au Canada, d'oeuvres musicales ou dramatico-musicales.
