إن ادعاءات الاتجار بالأسلحة عبر الحدود السورية اللبنانية، إلى جانب الإجراءات والأحداث المتكررة على طول الحدود، والتي تسببت في وفاة أو إصابة للمدنيين، تعزز ضرورة اعتماد وتنفيذ استراتيجية شاملة لإدارة الحدود البرية اللبنانية، التي يُعترف بها من عهد بعيد.

The allegations of arms trafficking across the Syrian-Lebanese border and repeated actions and incidents along the border that caused death or injury to civilians reinforce the need for the adoption and the implementation of a comprehensive strategy for the management of Lebanon’s land borders, which has long been recognized.
