직조과정에서 열과 압력에 의하여 디자인이 날염된 전사지로부터 경사 다발로 디자인이 전사되는 경사날염 방식에 의하여 디자인이 날염된 데님 원단이 개시된다. 특히 본 발명에 따른 데님 제품은 위사로 염색사를 사용하는 경우에는 경사 날염에 의하여 경사에 형성되는 무늬가 위사의 색과 조합되거나 겹쳐 비춰짐에 따라 단일의 무늬로는 표현될 수 없는 독특한 디자인을 표현할 수 있게 해준다.
