وسعيا إلى التوصل إلى حل مقبول للنزاع الإقليمي بين غينيا الاستوائية وغابون (بشأن السيادة على جزر مبانيي وكوكوتيي وكونغاس في خليج كورسيكو، وتعيين الحدود البحرية ورسم الحدود البرية)، اتفقت الدولتان، في كانون الثاني/يناير 2004، على قبول الوساطة تحت إشراف الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة.

In order to reach a mutually acceptable solution regarding the territorial dispute between Equatorial Guinea and Gabon (regarding sovereignty over the Mbanié, Cocotiers and Congas islands in Corsico Bay, the delimitation of maritime boundaries and the delineation of the land boundary), the two States agreed, in January 2004, to accept mediation under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

A fin de llegar a una solución de aceptación común respecto de la controversia territorial entre Guinea Ecuatorial y Gabón (relacionada con la soberanía sobre las islas Mbanié, Cocotiers y Congas en la bahía de Corsico, la delimitación de fronteras marítimas y la delineación de la frontera terrestre), ambos Estados convinieron en enero de 2004 en aceptar la mediación con los auspicios del Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas.

Afin de trouver une solution mutuellement acceptable au différend territorial entre la Guinée équatoriale et le Gabon (relatif à la souveraineté sur les îles Mbanié, Cocotiers et Conga situées dans la baie de Corsico, la délimitation des frontières maritimes et le tracé de la frontière terrestre), les deux États sont convenus, en janvier 2004, d’accepter une médiation sous les auspices du Secrétaire général de l’ONU.

Для достижения взаимоприемлемого решения относительно территориального спора между Экваториальной Гвинеей и Габоном (по вопросам о суверенитете над островами Мбанье, Кокотье и Конгас в заливе Кориско, делимитации морских границ и проведения сухопутной границы), эти два государства в январе 2004 года согласились на посреднические услуги под эгидой Генерального секретаря Организации Объединенных Наций.
