Im Tierversuch zeigte sich eine Ausbildung von Knochenbrücken an der Grenzfläche Formkörper/Muskulatur: es folgte eine Erhöhung der Torsionsfestigkeit in Gruppe A um 95% (p=0,08) und in Gruppe B um 91% (p=0,047).

Histology showed the formation of a new bone at the spacer/muscle interface. For the sheep, relative torsional strength was enhanced by 95% (P=0.08) in group A and by 91% (P=0.047) in group B.
