Das Resultat seines Studiums über Coxa plana sowie Luxatio coxae congenita führt den Verfasser zu der Anschauung, daß es sich bei den Fällen, welche in den Jahren 1934–1935 als Coxa magna bezeichnet wurden, nicht um die Folge von Zirkulationsstörungen, sondern um den Folgezustand einer unbemerkt spontan eingerenkten angeborenen Hüftverrenkung handelt.

The results of his studies of Coxa plana as well as Luxatio coxae congenita led the author to the opinion that the cases which, in the years 1934–1935, were designated as Coxa magna did not represent the outcome of circulatory disorders but a condition resulting from the unnoticed spontaneous reposition of a congenital dislocation of the hip joint.
