After the start in Bergamo, the riders will go east and find kilometer 0 at the ring around the city for a loop via Grumello del Monte and coming back close to the start from where they'll go towards Ponte San Pietro and turn right on the SP177 towards the climb of Valico di Valcava and its 1336 meters altitude (at that time they've returned back on the same race route as last year). After the descent they'll get to the feeding zone of San Sosimo and will cross the race route they've followed before, in Cisano Bergamasco.

Na de start in Bergamo begeven de renners zich oostwaarts richting kilometer 0 ter hoogte van de rondweg rondom de stad waarna ze een lusje zullen volgen via Grumello del Monte en weer terug richting de start vanwaaruit ze dan koers zetten richting Ponte San Pietro en vervolgens rechtsaf slaan op de SP177 naar de klim van de Valico di Valcava en zijn 1336 hoogtemeters (ze zijn dan weer terug op hetzelfde parcours als vorig jaar), alvorens weer af te dalen en via de bevoorradingszone van San Sosimo ter hoogte van Cisano Bergamasco de heenweg weer te kruisen.
