An elastic sheet (6) and a contact sheet (7) are provided in layers in a space in the box body (2) of a jewelry storing box, and a humidity dryer (8), an elastic sheet (9) and a contact sheet (10) are provided in layers in a space in a lid (3), at least one of the elastic sheets (6, 9) and the contact sheets (7, 10) being impregnated with a vaporizing anti-corrosion member to thereby wipe dirt off the surfaces of gemstones (11A) of the jewelry (11) by the contact sheets (7, 10) and prevent corroding of metal members (11B) of the jewelry (11) by the action of a vaporizing anti-corrosion agent while the jewelry (11) is merely kept stored in the box.
