Both sympatric garter snake species, T.eques and T.melanogaster, were still active in Zacapu at the end of November. This is in line with my observations at Lago de Chapala (Bol, 2010) and Lago de Cuitzeo (Bol, 2007).

Net als in Lago de Chapala (Bol, 2011) en Lago de Cuitzeo (Bol, 2007) waren zowel T.eques als T.melanogaster nog actief in Zacapu zo laat in het jaar.
