The legendary Perry Henzell’s The harder they come, starring Jamaican musician Jimmy Cliff, is the film series’ reference. This film contributed to the spread of Jamaican music and it was the start of a long relationship between cinema and reggae culture. Some of these film’s screenings will be world premieres, such as Legends of Ska and R come reggae, R come Rototom.

Esta actividad promovida por el festival toma como referencia el clásico film jamaicano The harder they come, dirigido por Perry Henzel y protagonizado por el reconocido cantante de reggae Jimmy Cliff, que contribuyó a la difusión de la música jamaicana, promoviendo la relación entre el cine y la todavía algo desconocida cultura reggae.
