A mophead includes a holder (12) connected to or connectable to a shaft of a mop, and a sheet (14) of mop material which is held by the holder (12) and which forms a splayable skirt (32) having an exterior surface, an interior surface opposite the exterior surface, a bottom edge (42) which is opposite the holder (12), and only two opposing side edges (36b) which extend from a position which is at or adjacent to the holder (12) to the bottom edge (42) and which are unconnected to each other along the longitudinal extend of the side edges (36b) so as to define an opening slit (44) in the skirt (32).

L'invention concerne une tête de balai à laver qui comprend un support (12), relié à une tige de balai à laver ou susceptible d'être relié à celle-ci, et une feuille (14) de matériau pour laver, qui est maintenue par le support (12) et qui forme une jupe évasée (32) ayant une surface externe, une surface interne opposée à la surface externe, un bord inférieur (42) qui est opposé au support (12) et seulement deux bords latéraux opposés (36b), qui s'étendent depuis une position qui se situe au niveau du support (12) ou adjacente à celui-ci sur le bord inférieur (42) et qui ne sont pas reliés l'un à l'autre sur la longueur des bords latéraux (36b), de manière à définir une fente d'ouverture (44) dans la jupe (32).
