In der Arbeit werden auch die grundlagen von praktischen Methoden zur Laufzeitberechnung für alle Entfernungen und Ionisationsverhältnisse an Hand der Grenzfrequenz-Weltkarten entwickelt und für die Berechnung der scheinbaren Reflexionshöhe ein neues Verfahren empfohlen.

The principles of practical methods of calculating the velocityveff for any distances and conditions of ionisation are discussed by the aid of world maps of critical frequencies. A new method of calculating the apparent height of reflection is suggested.
