본 발명은 놀이공원, 박물관, 관청과 같은 한정된 지정공간을 이용하는 노약자의 해당 위치정보를 제공하기 위한 위치검색 시스템 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 지정 공간내의 노약자 위치검색 시스템 장치는, 크게 노약자가 휴대하고 RFID가 포함되어 개별 고유 식별정보를 가지는 식별기와, 상기 식별기와 무선통신으로 식별기를 인식하도록 지정장소 내에 다수로 배치되는 리더기와, 지정공간에 입장하는 식별기의 정보를 수집하고 상기 리더기가 수집한 여러 식별기의 식별정보와 인식한 리더기의 정보를 전송받아 지정장소 내의 정확한 위치와 이동경로를 산출하는 관제기와, 상기 관제기로부터 얻어지는 각 식별기의 위치정보 등을 사용자에게 알려주기 위한 정보단말기 및 보조단말기로 구성된다.
