After the startup of the host computer, if an NVMe command instructing the controller to perform I/O in accordance with an NVMe protocol is issued from the host computer, via the host-side bus, to an NVMe function from among the plurality of functions, the interface device issues an I/O request to the controller on the basis of the NVMe command.
