وتستضيف بيروت، بحكم أنها العاصمة وأنها نقطة الدخول الرئيسية إلى لبنان بحرا وجوا، مكتبا صغيرا للبعثة يعمل فيه موظفو اتصال وموظفون سياسيون، إضافة إلى موظفي دعم يتعاملون مع سلطات الهجرة والجمارك والبائعين ومكاتب الأمم المتحدة في بيروت، وذلك أساسا لتسهيل حركة الأفراد والمعدات ذهابا إلى البعثة أو إيابا منها إلى الوطن.

As the capital and the principal point of entry into Lebanon by sea and air, Beirut hosts a small UNIFIL office with liaison and political personnel, as well as support personnel who interface with immigration and customs authorities, vendors and United Nations offices in Beirut, primarily to facilitate the flow of personnel and equipment destined for, or repatriating from, UNIFIL.
