Dr. Feinstein and his colleagues are adding diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) to their detection arsenal to help address the issue of depression in MS. They are using both conventional MRI and the newer DTI technique to look for brain factors associated with mood change.

Le Dr Feinstein et ses collaborateurs ont ajouté l’imagerie du tenseur de diffusion (ITD) à leur arsenal de détection pour mieux comprendre la dépression dans la SP. Ils utilisent à la fois l’IRM classique et la technique plus récente de l’ITD pour étudier les facteurs cérébraux associés aux changements d’humeur.
