(২) বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রথম চ্যান্সেলর, প্রথম ভাইস-চ্যান্সেলর ও প্রথম উপ-ভাইস-চ্যান্সেলরগণ এবং বোর্ড এর প্রথম সদস্যগণ, একাডেমিক কাউন্সিলের প্রথম সদস্যগণ এবং একাডেমিক প্লানিং কমিটির প্রথম সদস্যগণ এবং এর পর যে সকল ব্যক্তি অনুরূপ কর্মকর্তা বা সদস্য হবেন, তাঁরা যতদিন পর্যন্ত অনুরূপ পদে অধিষ্ঠিত থাকবেন বা অনুরূপ সদস্য থাকবেন ততদিন, তাঁদের লইয়া বাংলাদেশ উন্মুক্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নামে একটি সংবিধিবদ্ধ সংস্থা গঠিত হবে।

The first Chancellor, the first Vice-Chancellor and the first Pro-Vice-Chancellors of the University and the first members of the Board, the Academic Council and the Academic Planning Committee and all persons who may become hereafter such officers or members shall, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, constitute a body corporate by the name of the Bangladesh Open University.
