A few drugs can cause severe toxicity to an infant after a small dose: atropine, H1-antihistamines, calcium-channel blockers, and other antiarrhythmic agents such as propafenone, clonidine, antipsychotic agents, theophylline, tricyclic antidepressants, opioids (especially methadone), and sulphonylureas.
