وترحب اللجنة بتصديق الدولة الطرف في عام 2002 على اتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 29(1930) المتعلقة بالعمل الجبري أو الإلزامي، وعلى اتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 182(1999) المتعلقة بحظر أسوأ أشكال عمل الأطفال، وبموافقة مجلس النواب في 28 آب/أغسطس 2006 على قرار يوعز إلى حكومة نيبال بالتصديق على اتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 169(1989) المتعلقة بالشعوب الأصلية والقبلية.

The Committee welcomes the ratification in 2002 by the State party, of the ILO Convention No. 29 (1930) on Forced Labour and Convention No. 182 (1999) on the Worst Forms of Child Labour, and the endorsement, on 28 August 2006, by the House of Representatives, of a resolution directing the Government of Nepal to ratify the ILO Convention No. 169 (1989) on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples.

El Comité se felicita por la ratificación en 2002 por el Estado Parte de los Convenios de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) No 29 (1930) sobre el trabajo forzoso y No 182 (1999) sobre las peores formas de trabajo infantil, así como la aprobación el 28 de agosto de 2006 por la Cámara de Representantes de una resolución por la que autoriza al Gobierno de Nepal a ratificar el Convenio No 169 (1989) de la OIT sobre pueblos indígenas y tribales.
