With the aim of examining the ants and carabid beetles fauna associated to the soil of grasslands, scrublands, glens and primary forest at the National Natural Park Farallones de Cali piedmont, Colombia leaf litter sifting samplings using the Winkler sac extraction method were carried out.

Con el objetivo de examinar la fauna de hormigas y escarabajos Carabidae asociada al suelo de pastizales, matorrales, cañadas y bosque primario en el piedemonte del Parque Nacional Natural Farallones de Cali, Colombia se hicieron muestreos utilizando el método de cernido de hojarasca y saco Winkler.
