Renninger (Department of Political Affairs), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on assistance to the Palestinian people (A/57/130-E/2002/79), said that it had been compiled by the Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator in the Occupied Territories on the basis of input from United Nations specialized agencies and the Bretton Woods institutions.
