One member said that in assessing bioaccumulation in respect of decabromodiphenyl ether, the Committee should also take into account the high value of log Koa of decabromodiphenyl ether, which coupled with the high value of its log Kow resulted in the slow elimination of the substances by air breathing organisms, as described in the proposal.
