ওভেন কাপড়ে সাধারণ নিয়ম অনুযায়ী আড়াআড়িভাবে একে অপরের মাঝে বা উপর দিয়ে গিয়ে বন্ধন তৈরি কর। ব্যবহার করা সুতাকে অবশ্যই স্থিতিস্থাপক হতে হয়। ওভেন কাপড়ে সঠিক পন্থা অবলম্বন না করলে প্রান্ত দিয়ে সুতাগুলো খোলা অবস্থায় অসমান থেকে যায়। এটি সঠিকভাবে কেটে ফেলতে ধারালো কাচি বা ভার ব্যবহার করা হয়।
