وبناء على طلب من أمين المظالم، نظمت وزارة الخارجية والتجارة الدولية والأديان اجتماعا مع ممثلي جميع الوزارات، تقرر فيه طلب رأي أكاديمي من معهد بحوث أمبـروزيو خيوخا التابع لكلية الحقوق بجامعة بوينس آيرس، الذي يرأسه خيرمان بيدارت كامبوس، بشأن مدى توافق الاتفاقية رقم 169 مع التشريع الوطني الحالي، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بأي تنازع فيما بينها وبين القانونين المدني والجنائي.

At the request of the Ombudsman, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship organized a meeting with representatives of all the ministries, at which it was decided to solicit an academic opinion from the Ambrosio Gioja research institute of the Faculty of Law at the University of Buenos Aires, headed by Germán Bidart Campos, on the compatibility of Convention No. 169 with the current national legislation, especially with regard to any conflict between it and the civil and penal codes.

Y, a petición del Señor Defensor del Pueblo, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto ha realizado una reunión con representantes de todos los ministerios en la que se ha decidido solicitar opinión académica al Instituto de Investigaciones Ambrosio Gioja de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Buenos Aires que preside el Dr. Germán Bidart Campos a fin de que determine la compatibilidad del Convenio 169 con la legislación nacional vigente, especialmente referido a la eventual colisión de normas con los Códigos Civil y Penal.
