I hope that the mixed group of non-attached Members will soon exist on a par with all the other groups and that the discrimination of non-attached Members, who are the real pariahs of this House, which has been the case for twenty years, will never occur again.

Kiitän häntä, ja samalla haluan sanoa, että jatkamme ponnisteluja parlamentin jäseniin kohdistuvan syrjinnän poistamiseksi, ja toivon, että riippumattomien jäsenten sekaryhmällä on pian ja lopultakin tasaveroinen asema muiden ryhmien rinnalla ja ettei riippumattomiin jäseniin kohdistunut syrjintä koskaan enää toistu, kuten 20 vuoden ajan tapahtui. Riippumattomat edustajathan ovat parlamentissa todellinen paarialuokka.
