وبالفعل، وسعيا إلى تسوية منازعاتنا الحدودية مع النيجر وبنن، وقّعت بوركينا فاسو على اتفاقات حلول توفيقية تتعهد بموجبها بتطبيق قواعد القانون الدولي ومبادئه، وبخاصة مبدأ عدم جواز انتهاك حرمة الحدود الموروثة عن الاستعمار، وبقبول الحكم الذي سيصدر عن محكمة العدل الدولية باعتباره قرارا نهائيا وملزما.

Thus, in order to resolve border disputes with the Niger and Benin, Burkina Faso made a signed commitment that it will apply the rules and principles of international law, especially the principle of the intangibility of the borders inherited from colonization, and accept the ruling of the International Court of Justice as final and binding.

En efecto, para resolver las controversias sobre las fronteras con el Níger y Benin, Burkina Faso ha firmado acuerdos en los que se ha comprometido a aplicar las normas y principios del derecho internacional, en particular el principio de la inviolabilidad de las fronteras heredadas de las potencias coloniales, y a aceptar como definitivo y obligatorio el fallo que dicte la Corte Internacional de Justicia.

En effet, pour le règlement des différends frontaliers avec le Niger et le Bénin, le Burkisa Faso a signé des compromis dans lesquels il s’engage à appliquer les règles et le principe du droit international, notamment le principe de l’intangibilité des frontières héritées de la colonisation, et accepte comme définitif et obligatoire l’arrêt qui sera rendu par la Cour internationale de Justice.

В частности, для урегулирования пограничных споров с Нигером и Бенином Буркина-Фасо подписала соглашение, в котором обязалась следовать правилам и принципу международного права, в частности принципу неприкосновенности границ, унаследованных с периода колонизации, и признает в качестве окончательного и обязательного решение, которое вынесет Международный Суд.
