Το 1889 εξελέγη με μεγάλο ποσοστό υποδιοικητής της Εθνικής Τραπέζης ενώ υπήρξε επίσης πρόεδρος του διοικητικού συμβουλίου της Εθνικής Ασφαλιστικής και της εταιρίας διώρυγας της Κορίνθου.
