Dieser Lücke widmet sich der vorliegende Beitrag, der auf Grundlage der Dissertation der Autorin in einem länderübergreifenden Systemvergleich die in Deutschland und Großbritannien gemachten Erfahrungen in der Entwicklung und Bereitstellung sozialer Dienste für zugewanderte Senioren/innen im offenen Bereich der Altenhilfe analysiert und gegenüberstellt.

Based on the author's thesis, the following essay aims to bridge this gap. Within the broader context of comparing different welfare systems, it analyzes and compares specific experiences in the field of developing and opening up social services for elderly from black and ethnic minority groups in Germany and Great Britain.
