Faellesskabet har erklaeret sig rede til for vaevet stof af natursilke (herunder schappesilke og bourettesilke) og vaevet stof af bomuld, fremstillet paa haandvaev, at aabne aarlige faellesskabstoldkontingenter med toldfrihed for hver af disse inden for rammerne af en vaerdi (toldvaerdi), som for 1993 andrager 2 316 000 ECU for silkestoffer og 2 069 000 ECU for bomuldsstoffer; indfoersel under disse faellesskabstoldkontingenter er dog betinget af, at der forelaegges et fremstillingscertifikat, som er anerkendt af Faellesskabets kompetente myndigheder, at hvert stykke stof i begge ender er paatrykt et af disse myndigheder godkendt stempel, og at transporten foregaar direkte mellem fremstillingslandet og Faellesskabet; de paagaeldende toldkontingenter boer derfor aabnes den 1. januar 1994 og vaere af samme stoerrelse som for 1993;

Die Gemeinschaft hat sich bereit erklärt, für Gewebe aus Seide oder Schappeseide und für Gewebe aus Baumwolle, auf Handwebstühlen hergestellt, jährlich zollfreie Gemeinschaftszollkontingente bis zum Wert (Zollwert) von - nach dem Stand von 1993 - 2 316 000 ECU bei Geweben aus Seide und von 2 069 000 ECU bei Geweben aus Baumwolle zu eröffnen. Die Zulassung zu diesen Gemeinschaftszollkontingenten ist jedoch an die Vorlage einer von den zuständigen Behörden der Gemeinschaft anerkannten Herstellungsbescheinigung, die Anbringung eines von diesen Behörden zugelassenen Stempels am Anfang und Ende eines jeden Webstücks und an die nichtunterbrochene Beförderung vom Herstellungsland in die Gemeinschaft gebunden. Die betreffenden Zollkontingente sind demnach am 1. Januar 1994 nach Maßgabe der für das Jahr 1993 festgelegten Mengen zu eröffnen.

Whereas, as regards hand-woven fabrics of silk, waste silk other than noil and cotton, the Community has declared its readiness to open annual duty-free Community tariff quotas up to a value (customs value) which, for 1993, amounted to ECU 2 316 000 for silk fabrics and to ECU 2 069 000 for cotton fabrics; whereas products may be admitted under the Community tariff quota only on production of a certificate of manufacture recognized by the relevant authorities of the Community, such products being stamped in a manner approved by those authorities at the beginning and end of each item and carried direct from the country of manufacture to the Community; whereas it is, accordingly, appropriate to open the tariff quotas in question with effect from 1 January 1994 at the levels set for 1993;

considerando che, per i tessuti di seta o di borra di seta (schappe) e i tessuti di cotone, lavorati su telai a mano, la Comunità si è dichiarata disposta ad aprire contingenti tariffari comunitari annuali in esenzione da dazi, per un valore (valore in dogana) che, nel 1993, è stato di 2 316 000 ECU per i tessuti di seta e di 2 069 000 ECU per i tessuti di cotone; che l'ammissione al beneficio di detti contingenti tariffari comunitari è tuttavia subordinata alla presentazione di un certificato di fabbricazione riconosciuto dalle autorità competenti della Comunità, all'apposizione, all'inizio e alla fine di ogni pezza, di un marchio ammesso da dette autorità ed al trasporto diretto dal paese di fabbricazione alla Comunità; che occorre, quindi, aprire il 1° gennaio 1994 i contingenti tariffari in questione, in ragione dei volumi ammessi per il 1993;

Considerando que, para os tecidos de seda ou de borras de seda (schappe) e tecidos de algodão, tecidos em teares manuais, a Comunidade declarou-se pronta à abertura de contingentes pautais comunitários anuais, com isenção de direitos, no limite, para cada um, de um valor (valor aduaneiro) que se elevou, para o ano de 1993, a 2 316 000 ecus para os tecidos de seda e a 2 069 000 ecus para os tecidos de algodão; que a admissão ao benefício desses contingentes pautais comunitários está, todavia, sujeita à apresentação de um certificado de fabrico reconhecido pelas autoridades competentes na Comunidade, à aposição de um carimbo aprovado por essas autoridades no início e no fim de cada peça e ao transporte directo entre os países de fabrico e a Comunidade; que é, pois, conveniente abrir, em 1 de Janeiro de 1994, os contingentes pautais em questão, na proporção dos volumes estabelecidos para o ano de 1993;
