وتشير اللجنة الاستشارية إلى أنه رغم إمكان تغيير مواعيد بعض المشاريع، في انتظار تقديم الأمين العام لاستراتيجية الدعم العام التي يعدها (انظر الفقرة 24 أعلاه)، فإن إرجاء العديد من أشغال التشييد والكهرباء ستكون له عواقب سلبية فيما يتصل بفعالية عمل القاعدة.

The Advisory Committee points out that while some projects may be rescheduled, pending the presentation by the Secretary-General of his global support strategy (see para. 24 above), the postponement of several construction and electrical works would entail negative consequences for the effective operation of the Base.
