Thus in 1990, under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness the regretted Prince Rainier III and the Presidency of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, SPORTEL was created thanks to the initiative of Georges Bertellotti, a Monegasque journalist and avid sportsman, who served as liaison between the Government and the sports press for more than thirty years.

Cest ainsi quen 1990, sous le Haut Patronage de Son Altesse Sérénissime le Prince Rainier III et la Présidence de S.A.S. le Prince Albert II de Monaco, SPORTEL a vu le jour grâce à linitiative de Georges Bertellotti, journaliste sportif Monégasque et fan de sports émérite qui, pendant 30 ans, fut le lien entre le Gouvernement et la presse sportive.
