However, since the creation of the São Paolo Forum (a Marxist organization whose main objective is to promote the doctrine of “anti-imperialism” in Latin America), Costa Rica's universities have witnessed the emergence of student groups who espouse this doctrine and are being recruited, and who are worthy of follow-up and supervision, in order to prevent them from adopting subversive ideas

Sin embargo, desde la creación del Foro Sao Paulo (organización de pensamiento marxista cuyo objetivo principal es exaltar el sentimiento denominado “antiimperialismo” en Latinoamérica) han surgido en las universidades estatales grupos estudiantiles que pregonan ese sentimiento, los cuales están siendo reclutados y merecen su seguimiento y control con la finalidad de evitar que adopten ideas subversivas
