وتنسق وحدة معالجة الإجهاد الناتج عن الحوادث الخطيرة جهود إسداء المشورة الشاملة في حالات الطوارئ، وتجري تقييمات للاحتياجات، وتقدم الدعم والمشورة التقنيين بشأن سبل التخفيف من أثر الإجهاد الناتج عن الحوادث الخطيرة، وتوفر التدريب في مجال الوقاية من الإجهاد ومعالجته إلى جميع موظفي الأمم المتحدة؛
