سادسا، تحيط منظمة الوحدة الأفريقية علما باستعداد الطرفين للانتهاء بسرعة من وضع الترتيبات التقنية الموحدة، ثم الانتقال إلى توقيع الاتفاق الإطاري وأشكال التنفيذ والترتيبات التقنية الموحدة، لإقرار وقف الأعمال الحربية رسميا والقيام بكل إخلاص بتنفيذ جميع الوثائق الثلاث التي تشكل خطة التسوية السلمية والنهائية لحل النـزاع؛

Sixthly, OAU takes note of the readiness of the two Parties to finalize quickly the consolidated Technical Arrangements, then proceed to the signature of the Framework Agreement, Modalities and consolidated Technical Arrangements, to establish a formal cessation of hostilities and implement faithfully all the three documents constituting the peaceful and definitive settlement plan for the resolution of the conflict;
