Following the audit by the Office of Internal Oversight Services (see para. 5 above), administrative decisions concerning the engagement of consultants and budgetary and personnel matters were cleared by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for INSTRAW and the Executive Office of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the Secretariat.
